Dear STA members,
Hopefully, everyone enjoyed JSM 2024 and returned home safely. That means it's time to turn the chapter and start planning for JSM 2025! Join us in "Music City," Nashville, TN from August 2 – 7 for a conference centered around the theme "Statistics, Data Science, and AI Enriching Society."
Invited sessions are a cornerstone of JSM, offering in-depth explorations of critical topics and STA invites you to submit a proposal. Sessions typically feature 2–6 participants and can take various formats, but all are 110 minutes long with a designated chair. Popular options include 2–3 speakers with a discussant or a panel discussion with 3–5 panelists.
Submit your proposal by Thursday, September 5, 2024 (11:59 p.m. ET). Only complete submissions will be considered for the program.
To submit a proposal, please prepare the following:
- Session Type (Invited Paper or Invited Panel)
- Sponsor (A pre-approved list is provided; select no more than three.)
- Session Title
- Session Description (provide a short description, including focus, content, timeliness, appeal, and format)
- Session Organizer (including affiliation and email address)
- Session Chair (including affiliation and email address)
- Session Speakers and Discussants (including affiliations and email addresses)
