    Dear All,

    Columbia Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is excited to host Hacking Health 2025, a 48-hour healthcare-focused hackathon taking place on the weekend of February 8–9, 2025, at Columbia University. This event will bring together 150+ participants from Columbia and neighboring universities to collaborate in small teams, creating innovative hardware solutions for pressing challenges in healthcare. The theme for this year is Precision/Personalized Medicine, and the tracks are Genomics, Molecular Therapeutics, Emerging Ventures* 

    Participants will pitch groundbreaking ideas, work with mentors, and build projects that could transform the future of medicine. The hackathon will culminate in team demos and presentations evaluated by a panel of judges, with prizes awarded for standout projects in various categories.

    This inspiring and collaborative event will include mentorship sessions, fireside chats, and networking opportunities, fostering creativity and innovation. We look forward to creating a space for brilliant minds to converge and push the boundaries of healthcare innovation.

    *The event is open to everyone above the age of 18 regardless of university/student status. If you are not a Columbia ID holder, you must register for the event by January 19th. If you register afterward, there is no guarantee that we can grant you access to campus.
