We are pleased to announce our Career Sharing Interview Series featuring leaders in biostatistics, diagnostics, medical devices, and pharmaceutical development. Six seasoned statistical leaders with distinguished and diverse career paths will join us and share their knowledge, wisdom, and advice with statisticians at all career stages, particularly in this AI-evolution era.

Elizabeth Ellinger - Currently Vice Chair of the EP24 Document Development Committee at the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and an independent statistical consultant. Previously served as Principal Biostatistician at Illumina and Senior Director of Quality and Compliance at Acclarent, with extensive experience in in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, quality systems, and regulatory science.

II.     Cristiana Mayer - September 25, 2026 | 1:00–1:45 PM EST

Cristiana Mayer - Currently Global Head of Statistics and Clinical Data Management at Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Previously held long-term statistical leadership roles at Janssen R&D, supporting drug development and advancing innovative statistical methods across clinical development programs.

III.   Shuguang Huang - October 16, 2026 | 1:00–1:45 PM EST

Shuguang Huang - Spent the first 15 years of his career at Eli Lilly, Pfizer, and Precision Therapeutics. In 2014 he co-founded Stat4ward, supporting pharmaceutical and medical device companies in CDx and IVD/LDT product development, with extensive PMA, 510(k), and CLSI guideline experience.

Brian Hart - Currently Senior Manager at Natera with extensive experience applying biostatistics to genomic diagnostics and precision medicine. His career also includes statistical leadership in the health and commercial insurance sectors.
