Call for Invited Session Proposals, Lifetime Data Science Conference 2021 (*CLOSED*)
The American Statistical Association Section on Lifetime Data Science (LiDS) is pleased to announce a call for invited session proposals for the Lifetime Data Science Conference that will be held May 19-21, 2021 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The theme of the conference will be "Advances in Survival Analysis: Making an Impact in the Era of Data Science". However, all topics related to lifetime data analysis will be considered including high dimensional data, prediction, causal inference, clinical trials, epidemiological methods, competing risks, complex observation schemes, dependence models, biomarker studies infectious disease, joint models, measurement error, multiphase designs, multistate processes, recurrent event analysis, sampling schemes or a topic of your choice.
Invited sessions are 90 minutes long and should be organized according to one of the following three options:
- 3 speakers allocated 25 minutes each + 15 minutes for open discussion, or
- 4 speakers allocated 20 minutes each + 10 minutes for open discussion, or
- 3 speakers allocated 20 minutes each + 15 minutes for 1 discussant + 15 minutes for open discussion
Proposals should include the title of the session, the names, affiliations, and email addresses of the invited speakers and the titles of their presentations, and submitted as an email attachment to lidsconf2021@gmail.com.
Proposals will be accepted until May 1, 2020 and acceptance notifications are expected to be sent by June 1, 2020.
