The Iowa chapter wants to share some exciting news with you!

The 2026 ASA Midwest Regional Conference in Statistics and Data Science was hosted by UMN’s Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications (IRSA) and regional ASA chapters (including us!) on May 28–29, 2026.

Our 2nd annual student-focused event was hosted at Grinnell College on Friday, April 11, 2025! The event was organized locally and supported by Grinnell College’s Department of Statistics. The University of Iowa's Department of Biostatistics supported student awards.
