Q: Is there a dress code?

A: There is no dress code for attending STATFest. We recommend business casual since you will be able to network with professionals for job and internship opportunities.



StatFest is a free, one-day conference aimed at encouraging undergraduate students from historically underrepresented backgrounds to consider careers and graduate studies in the statistical sciences 
 
Hosted by Columbia University in New York City
 
Students will hear from graduate students and professionals across a broad range of careers in the statistical sciences who will share information on their pathways and experiences and provide advice for success. Additional info sessions will cover tips for networking, finding summer programs, and applying to graduate school. They can visit the Expo to meet with representatives from graduate programs, summer internship programs, and potential employers. StatFest also gives students the opportunity to make meaningful connections with others in attendance.
