Student Awards
ssSibei Liu, from the University of Miami, was named the sole recipient of the Student Paper Competition Award at the 2026 Annual ASA Florida Chapter Meeting.

Jade Muyambo, from the University of Miami, won the Excellence Award (Sole Recipient, Ranked #1, presented a stacking ensemble method) at the 2026 ASA South Florida Student Data Challenge (2026 ASA-SFDC). Diana Elizabeth Dancea, from Florida Atlantic University, won the Distinguished Achievement Award (Ranked #2, presented a stacking ensemble method) at the 2026 ASA-SFDC.
Daniel Regalado Cardoso and Miguel Rocha, from the University of Miami, won the Distinguished Achievement Award (Ranked #5, presented a CatBoost gradient boosting method) at the 2026 ASA-SFDC.

Zihao Wang, from the University of Miami, won the Certificate of Statistical Merit (Ranked #6, presented a deep learning method using TabPFN-2.5) at the 2026 ASA-SFDC.
