The Business and Economic Statistics Section (B&E) of the American Statistical Association (ASA) will offer up to four student paper awards for B&E student members enrolled in doctoral programs in business, economics, econometrics, statistics, or related disciplines. The section welcomes submissions presenting novel methods, theory, and applications across all areas of business and economic statistics. Awardees will receive support to participate in the 2025 Joint Statistical Meetings, to be held in Nashville, Tennessee, from August 2-7, 2025.

We also encourage applicants and faculty advisors to join the ASA Business and Economic Statistics Section, though membership is not required for award eligibility.
