I am excited to announce that the American Statistical Association - ASA JEDI Outreach Group Professional Development Committee is hosting our FREE networking and wind down session on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 5- 6 PM EST! I want to give a huge thank you to those who participated in our inaugural event. The conversation was enriching and informative.
We started with a reflective moment of gratitude. The unity, resilience, and support that many of our professional teams have displayed throughout this year were common themes acknowledged during the discussion. To hear that members of
this community have remained dedicated to accomplishing the missions of their organizations while supporting each other was inspiring. It led me to ask myself, "what are some ways that I can continue to champion my fellow data
professionals ? ".
Next, we shared our professional experiences with AI. Has the usage or concept of AI made significant changes, yet? If so, have they been positive/negative? Later, we began to touch on the topic of ethics and the usage of AI ( further discussion can definitely be had on that).
Our next session will kick off with the theme of goal setting for the new year. But what do think we should talk about next? We would be honored to have you as part of our network and discussion. If you or anyone you know could use a great
