    Dear SRMS Members,

    This is a friendly reminder that we are still seeking nominations for the 2026 SRMS Executive Board elections. To encourage broader participation, we have extended the nomination deadline to this Friday, October 31, 2025.<u1:p></u1:p>

    We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

    • Chair-Elect (2027, 3-year term as Chair-Elect, Chair, Past Chair)
    • Program Chair-Elect (2027, 2-year term as Program Chair Elect, Program Chair)
    • Publication Officer (2027-2028)
    • Education Officer (2027-2028)
    • Treasurer (2027-2028)
    • Council of Sections Representative (2027-2029)

    Dear ASA Community,
     
    My name is Sulaiman Sunusi Muhammad, and I am a Level 1 Statistics student at Bayero University Kano (BUK), Nigeria. I recently became a student member of the American Statistical Association, and I am deeply honored to join this global network of statisticians, data scientists, and researchers.
     
    Coming from a developing country, I have seen firsthand how data-driven decisions can transform societies. My goal is to build a strong foundation in statistics and apply my knowledge to solve real-world problems, particularly in education, public health, and community development.
     
    I am eager to learn from the wealth of experience within this community, connect with fellow students and professionals, and contribute meaningfully as I continue my journey in the field of statistics.
