Gideon Bahn earned his Master’s in Mathematics/Statistics and Ph.D. in Research Methodology at Loyola University Chicago. He taught statistics at Loyola University Chicago and consulted at Marianjoy Rehab Hospital in Wheaton for 5+ years. He has worked at Hines VA Cooperative Study Program Coordinating Center for 10+ years as a lead biostatistician and been involved in 9+ projects, including diabetes, brain-computer interface, infectious disease, blood flow imaging, swallow imaging, and cardiovascular diseases with a nerve stimulation. He has published 20+ papers, including two papers in NEJM, and 30+ presentations in various conferences including Joint Statistical Meeting (JSM), Society for Clinical Trials (SCT) and International Meeting of the Psychometric Society (IMPS). He has served as an invited peer reviewer in various journals, including SCT, and American Educational Statistics Association. He has been married to a lovely Korean lady for 30+ years and has two adult children; one girl who a lawyer in Chicago and another boy soon to an iron chief. For Christ and His kingdom, he enjoys preaching, teaching, evangelizing, and raising disciples wherever he goes.
