Rong Zheng
I am a PhD candidate in the program of Applied Statistics, Department of the Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science, University of Alabama. My main research interest lies in Statistics Process Control and Nonparametric Statistics. My research work in this area involves designing novel control chart and checking robustness of nonparametric hypothesis tests. Besides, I am also interested in finite mixture modeling and data mining science. As for teaching, I independently lectured two undergraduate level statistical courses. My bachelor degree in Mathematics was received from the Henan University, China in 2012. The planned graduation date is in August 2017.
