Hi! I'm Curry W. Hilton, Applied Statistics PhD. student at the University of Alabama.  Roll Tide! I specialize in effective teaching of statistics for business decision making.  My research area of interest is Statistical Quality Control under non-IID conditions.  I am from Brown Summit, NC but currently live in Tuscaloosa, AL with my three dogs, Emma, Berkeley, and Buffy.

Rong Zheng

I am a PhD candidate in the program of Applied Statistics, Department of the Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science, University of Alabama. My main research interest lies in Statistics Process Control. I come from Zhengzhou, the central part of China. The planned graduation date is in August 2017.

I am a third year student at The University of Alabama, working on my MS in Applied Statistics and my BS in Economics. I am an avid sports fan and I love seeing how analytics is changing the way teams operate.

Volodymyr Melnykov, Associate Professor, Applied Statistics PhD Program Coordinator, and UA ASA Chapter Adviser 

Dr. Melnykov joined the Applied Statistics faculty in 2012. His research has been published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Journal of Machine Learning Research, and others. He is a member of the American Statistical Association.
