History

The Montana State University student chapter of the ASA was created in November, 2014. We created this chapter to bring statistics enthusiasts from around our campus and community together.  Since then, we have combined to provide a community of statistics-focused students, faculty, and others. We have held networking events, brought campus speakers from locations like Colorado and Washington, and maintain connections with alumni who have graduated from Montana State's statistics program.  Additionally, our members have participated in outreach to the general community, volunteering at locations such as Fork and Spoon.

Undergraduate or graduate statistics student?  Researcher in another field? Just interested in stats? The ASA Student Chapter is here for you!  Want to help grow the statistical community? Reach out, or stop by one of our meetings.
