DESCRIPTION:
Professor Dirk Eddelbuettel is the author of the open-source software package Rcpp, which enables you to implement R functions in C++, and has also written the textbook Seamless R and C++ Integration with Rcpp on the topic. In addition, he has contributed to many packages in R as well as the Debian project. He is also a co-creator of the Rocker Project bringing Docker to R.

You are all invited to Room 2322, Building 9 to watch it, and pizza and drinks will be provided after the event. You may also fill in the following google form to help us have an idea on how much food we need to order :)
