The 2026 Annual Florida ASA Chapter Meeting will be held by the Department of Biostatistics and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University in Miami, Florida on March 6th - 7th.

Registration and abstract submission is now open!

The abstract submission deadline is February 28th.

In addition, there are multiple student competitions including a student paper/poster competition for research and a student data competition. See the meeting website for details and deadlines.

• March 2026: The FIU Department Biostatistics and Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host the 2026 Annual FL ASA Chapter Meeting. Details are available here.

• January 2025: Previous officer of the Florida Chapter, Dr. Ji-Hyun Lee became the 120th president of the ASA!
• November 2020: FSU hosted the 2020 ASA Traveling Course "Shiny Essentials" via Zoom, details are available here.
• September 2019: Large turnout at the Tidyverse Traveling Course organized by the Florida Chapter hosted at the University of Florida, read here for more details.
• August 2019: Yueh-Yun Chi wins the 2019 Service Award for her excellent service to the Florida statistics community. Thank you Yueh-Yun!
