The purpose of our American Statistical Association student chapter is to provide students at the Dutches Community College, State University of New York, opportunities to connect with other students interested in statistics and interact with prominent statisticians locally and at national meetings. We also want to encourage students to continue studying statistics/data science/Data analytics and provide career information in the statistical sciences. There are no scholastic requirements, and students need not be statistics majors. All students are welcome and encouraged to get involved.
