Webinar description:
Statisticians are often underrepresented in broader conversations shaping science policy, public understanding, and interdisciplinary research. This webinar, co-organized by the ASA Committee of Representatives to AAAS and the AAAS Section U Steering Committee, explores why and how ASA members can increase the visibility and impact of statistics within the wider scientific community. Participants will learn practical strategies for developing competitive AAAS Annual Meeting proposals, hear from those with experience navigating the process, and leave with concrete next steps for bringing a statistical perspective to a prominent meeting.
Sincerely,
Michelle Shardell
