The Journal Scholars Exchange (JSE) is an academic year program divided into two-month cohorts designed to foster professional development and enhance presentation skills in a supportive virtual environment for undergraduate students. Each cohort features a distinct focus, with the first month dedicated to professional growth through networking, skill-building activities, and guest speakers curated by the Staff Liaisons, Co-Chairs, and the Working Group. In the second month, participants showcase their presentation skills using scientific articles provided during the inaugural meeting, sourced from the joint ASA/AAPOR journal, Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology.
