Teaching Intro to Data Science or Data Science 2 in the fall? Looking for resources related to data science education?
We wanted to let you know that there have been light edits and updates to the open-access "Modern Data Science with R" (2e) textbook that was originally published in 2021. This summer's revisions incorporate a variety of changes in the R ecosystem (e.g., transition to use of base R pipe, Quarto).
Key chapters that may be relevant for instructors and students include data visualization, data wrangling, ethics, SQL, text analytics, simulation, dynamic visualization, geospatial analysis, network science, algorithmic thinking and reproducible analysis.
