The International Society for Biopharmaceutical Statistics (ISBS) is pleased to announce the 8th International Symposium on Biopharmaceutical Statistics, taking place from October 13-16, 2026, at Novotel Madrid Center, Madrid, Spain.
This scientific conference will convene statisticians and quantitative scientists to explore cutting-edge methodologies and their application across the entire biomedical product lifecycle, with a theme of Evidence Insights – Statistical Innovation, Regulatory Science, and the Transformative Impact of AI in Biopharma. Join us to address key challenges and opportunities in biomedical product development and post-approval management within the modern regulatory landscape.
Key symposium topics include (but are not limited to):
· Drug Discovery & Development: Preclinical research, PK/PD, early development, CMC, and clinical trials;
· Real-World Evidence & Safety: RWD/RWE, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, and outcomes research;
· Advanced Methodologies: Pharmacogenomics, innovative trial designs, advancement of statistical modeling and analyses, computation, and simulation;
· Regulatory Science: Innovative tools, standards, methods, and approaches to assess the safety, efficacy, quality, and performance of biomedical products;
