The Summer Institute in Statistics for Clinical & Epidemiological Research (SISCER), July 7-30, 2026, offers 14 introductory and advanced graduate-level short courses. Courses are intended for statisticians, biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and clinical researchers. All courses are fully online and use a half-day format. Course length varies from 1-4 days long.
Hosted by the University of Washington Department of Biostatistics, SISCER short-courses are taught by experts from around the world. There are learning opportunities in clinical trials, causal inference, biomarkers, longitudinal data, survival analysis, missing data methods... and more. 2026 brings two new courses: Multi-State Models for Time-to-Event Data, and Design and Analysis of Two-Phase Studies.
