Dear Students and Faculty,
I am pleased to share the call for submissions for STAI-X 2026: Statistics and Trustworthy AI for Cross (X)-Domain Acceleration, which will be held at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, on August 1–2, 2026. The meeting focuses on integrating statistics and AI to accelerate trustworthy discovery and real-world impact across health, biology, physical sciences, engineering, social sciences, business, and related domains. (StatsUpAI)
We are currently seeking two types of submissions:
Accepted papers will be eligible for platform (oral) presentations and paper awards. In addition, a subset of accepted papers may be invited for fast-track review opportunities at selected ASA and IMS journals, including JASA (Theory and Methods; Applications and Case Studies), Annals of Applied Statistics, Harvard Data Science Review, Genome Research, and ASA Discoveries. Accepted poster submissions will be eligible for poster presentations, lightning talks, and stellar abstract awards. (StatsUpAI)
Topics of interest include foundation and generative models, statistical and theoretical foundations of AI, synthetic data, benchmarking of AI-assisted tools, ethical AI, AI agents and co-scientists, statistical design and inference for ML/AI, and cross-domain applications. (StatsUpAI)
The submission deadline is May 11, 2026. All submissions should be made through the official OpenReview portal linked on the conference website: https://statsupai.org/STAIX2026/index.html. (StatsUpAI)
I encourage those working at the interface of statistics, AI, and substantive scientific applications to consider submitting.
Best regards,
Hongtu
