The ASA Section on Bayesian Statistical Science (SBSS) is soliciting proposals for roundtables for JSM 2026 (August 1-6, Boston, MA). Roundtables are small group talks with a discussion leader that occur in conjunction with breakfast or lunch, allowing participants to network while discussing a topic of interest.
Each roundtable can have up to 10 seats and 10 tickets, including the roundtable speaker. Participants must have a ticket to attend your roundtable. The number of seats at your table will be the number of tickets sold. The Section on Bayesian Statistical Science would cover the cost of your ticket and meal in exchange for hosting.
If interested in hosting, please email Francesco Sanna Passino (f,sannapassino@imperial.ac.uk) by January 5, 2026, with:
- A possible topic for your roundtable discussion.
- Potential dates.
- Whether you prefer to host a "Breakfast" or a "Lunch" roundtable.
