    Dear Colleagues,

A friendly reminder that the early-bird registration deadline is Sunday, March 8, and the poster abstract submission deadline is Monday, March 16, 2026.

We have reserved a small block of rooms at the Graduate Hotel, the only hotel on the UConn campus. Please use the link on our Venue page to make your reservation by March 19, 2026. Lodging on campus during spring weekends can be very limited due to various University events, so we encourage you to book early. Rooms in the block are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Best regards,

    Dear Colleagues,

I would like to share a few updates regarding the forthcoming CSAS 2026:

+ The on-campus hotel block at the special conference rate was scheduled to expire today; however, the hotel has granted a one-day extension. As this is the only on-campus accommodation, please make your reservation as soon as possible.

+ The deadline for poster abstract submissions has been extended to Monday, March 23, at 11:59 PM. We would appreciate your help in encouraging students to submit their work.

+ We maintain a mailing list of sports analytics and data science clubs for event communications. If you would like your club to be included, please complete the following form: https://forms.gle/aCb1MJRcjEZdN9gj6.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Best regards,
    Jun Yan

    Dear Colleagues,

Just a reminder that the registration deadline is in one week on Wednesday, April 8. The catering service needs our headcount long in advance. We appreciate your registering before the deadline.

With 29 posters (https://statds.org/events/csas2026/sessions.html) upcoming in the poster session, we need more judges. If you are attending the conference and willing to help with judging student posters, please drop me a line at jun.yan@uconn.edu.

I look forward to welcoming you at UConn on Friday, April 10, 2026!

    Jun Yan
