What is the Pathways Program?
The Pathways Program is a free-of-charge, synchronous, virtual learning experience where you'll:
Gain insight into the assessment of survey data quality and the application of survey data in social science researchLearn from faculty and students in the Michigan Program in Survey and Data Science (MPSDS), as well as guest experts from the Survey Research CenterApply course concepts through a small-group project using survey data
Who can sign up?
Upper-level undergraduates and those in the post-baccalaureate stage from anywhere in the world who are interested in data-driven survey research and data science.
When is it?
There are two sessions this summer:
Summer Session I: Mon-Thurs, June 15-25, 2026 from 12-1PM EDT
How can I apply?
You will need to fill out an application and submit a letter of recommendation. Please find details about the application process on our website.
When is the deadline to apply?
The deadline to apply for Summer Session I is June 8, 2026. The deadline to apply for Summer Session II is July 27, 2026.
