    Colleagues,

Please join us on Tuesday, July 16 at 11 am ET for the July R Govys (the goal of R Govys is to build community, share knowledge, and grow influence for users and producers of federal statistics) webinar.

Splink: A free, open source library tool for probabilistic record linkage at scale

Presenter: Robin Linacre, Ministry of Justice, UK

This talk will introduce Splink, a Python library for probabilistic record linkage and deduplication in the Fellegi Sunter framework that is used widely in government, academia and the private sector internationally.

It will cover Splink's key features, including:

    • Heavily customizable model specification, allowing for high accuracy modeling
    • Fast estimation and linkage including on large datasets
    • Interactive graphical outputs to help users understand their model
    • Clustering and graph analysis

The talk will also discuss comparisons with other open source software like Fastlink.

The webinar will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EDT
