    Hello everyone,

    I will be hosting a short course on Python Basics for Data Science.  All funds will go to the Saint Andrews Ukrainian Orthodox church's (Silver Spring, MD) Humanitarian supply drive for Ukraine.  This foundational course makes the topics in data science approachable and manageable. Participants will be equipped with the foundational skill sets to help them be successful in today's workforce.


    We will using Jupyter notebook.

    We will cover the following topics using Python:

    • ·         Basic syntax /environment
    • ·         Extract Transform Load (ETL)
    • ·         Working with Strings
    • ·         Data Viz
    • ·         Exploratory Data Analysis

    This event is only hosted on Monday March 25 and Wednesday March 27, 7pm to 9pm.

    Cost is 30 dollars.

    About the instructor: Michael Jadoo has taught courses on and related to data analysis and data science topics in R. Now he doing the same and including more for this course in Python!   He was an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and an adjunct professor at Montgomery College on the subject of data analysis. Mike is currently a data scientist at Accenture Federal Services.
    He has a BA in Economics and Business Administration from FIU and an MA in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
