We are saddened to announce the death of Professor Peter Armitage CBE on the 14 Feb 2024, aged 99. He was a pioneer in the field of medical statistics, and one of the few individuals to have received all three Guy Medals (Bronze, Silver and Gold) from the Royal Statistical Society.
