The project will develop theory, build software (called EpiMoRPH – Epidemiological Modeling Resources for Public Health), and coordinate with diverse stakeholders in academia, public health, and industry. The Postdoctoral Scholar will synthesize methods for spatial epidemiological modeling for COVID-19, test methods for fitting spatially-explicit epidemiological models to pathogen surveillance data, and work towards the development of automated software platforms.
