Nominate an expert to serve on our board or standing committee

The National Academies is looking for experts to serve on the Board on Mathematical Sciences and Analytics or the Committee on Applied and Theoretical Statistics!   Members will explore the latest developments in mathematics and statistics, including new advances in artificial intelligence and data science, and help guide National Academies' activities.

The Board on Mathematical Sciences and Analytics (BMSA) is particularly looking for candidates with expertise in mathematical biology and biomedical engineering, machine learning and AI, and mathematical applications in industry.  Please submit nominations by Tuesday, April 9, using this form.

The Committee on Applied and Theoretical Statistics (CATS) is particularly looking for candidates with expertise in applied statistics for industry; verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification; and ethics for statistics and AI.  Please submit nominations by Tuesday, April 9, using this form.
