Hi Everyone,
Me and a few other JSM attendees are organizing a Magic: The Gathering draft night during the conference week. It will be on Wednesday, August 5, at 7pm in the Westin. The format will be Secrets of Strixhaven (SOS) draft, the set that brought you such cards as:
We will also be bringing some EDH decks and an LotR Cube. Everyone is welcome to join! We currently have 4 people confirmed for the draft. Feel free to bring your own SOS play boosters for the draft (you need 3) but we also have some available at cost: 3 packs for $13. We feel there is a good chance that there are at least 4 more Magic players attending the conference to make a full 8-person draft pod (and even a small chance we can make 2 pods!).

| The Joint Statistical Meetings organized by the American Statistical Association - ASA is happening in Boston, MA from August 1 to 6 and Jason Brinkley, Eric Kawaguchi and myself are looking to see if we can get enough Magic players to do some Secrets of Strixhaven drafts onsite. |
