I'm looking for up-to-date review of bootstrap methods that presents the current state of the art in this area. I'll be grateful for any suggestions.

This is not a review in any sense but provides examples where the bootstrap fails to provide accurate confidence intervals for the mean.  It provides links to a couple of excellent reviews.
