Dear All,
It is a pleasure to invite you to the 39th New England Statistics Symposium
(NESS 2026), hosted this year at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT,
from May 27–29, 2026. This year's symposium, centered on the theme "From Data to
Discovery: Statistical Insight in the Age of AI," promises to be a dynamic forum
for our community.
We are honored to have Dr. Annie Qu (UCSB) and Dr. David Blei (Columbia
University) joining us as our keynote speakers. Alongside their plenary talks,
the program will feature a robust series of invited sessions, a poster gallery
showcasing the vital contributions of our young investigators and students. You
will also have the chance to engage with the NESS Statathon
We are also proud to offer three short courses on May 27th, designed to provide
in-depth exploration of current methodologies. Please check our website
program and course offerings.
We look forward to welcoming you to UConn this May!
Best regards,
The NESS 2026 Organizing Committee
