I am reaching out to invite you to become a supporter of a proposed American Statistical Association (ASA) Interest Group on Statistics for Manufacturing Industries.
The purpose of this Interest Group is to promote the application and advancement of statistical thinking, methods, and practices in manufacturing, while providing a collaborative platform for statisticians, engineers, scientists, and industry professionals. The group will also support education, training, and dissemination of best practices, and foster networking opportunities across both traditional and emerging manufacturing fields, including smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and additive manufacturing.
To formally establish this Interest Group, ASA requires at least 25 supporter signatures. Your support would be invaluable in helping launch this initiative. Please find attached the charter of the group, which outlines its scope, objectives, and structure.
