The International Statistical Institute is pleased to announce that it will host a reception during the 2025 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM 2025), taking place in Nashville, Tennessee. The reception is scheduled for Monday, 4 August 2025, at the Omni Nashville Hotel. 

Reception Details: Date: Monday, 4 August 2025 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM Location: Omni Nashville Hotel, Room H – Broadway G 250 Rep. John Lewis Way S, Nashville, TN 37203 

This gathering is an opportunity for ISI members, friends and partners, and prospective members to connect in an informal setting, foster professional relationships, and learn more about the global activities and initiatives of the International Statistical Institute (e.g. World Statistics Congresses in 2025 in The Hague (The Netherlands) and in 2027 in Busan (South Korea), Fifth ISI Regional Statistics Conference in 2026 in Malta, ISI Academy for Capacity Development, activities of the seven Associations under the ISI umbrella (Bernoulli, IAOS, IASC, IASE, IASS, ISBIS, TIES) and ISI Committees, awards and publications, public voice and support for the respect of ethical principles in the use of Statistics worldwide). 

The reception will be hosted by ISI President Xuming He and ISI President-Elect Fabrizio Ruggeri, who will be present to greet attendees and share insights into the ongoing work in advancing the role of statistics worldwide. The event is open to all current and prospective ISI and/or its Association members.

The International Statistical Institute is committed to supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional development across diverse statistical communities. 

We warmly encourage you to attend the reception, engage with fellow statisticians, and become more involved in the mission and projects of the International Statistical Institute.
