The International Statistical Engineering Association (ISEA) will be hosting their biannual summit on October 6, 2025 at the Marriott Sugarland Hotel. The event is a satellite conference of the Fall Technical Conference held immediately after at the same venue. 

ISEA is an organization founded with the vision of creating a community of people united together to integrate statistics with engineering principles to solve important problems in a sustainable way. With over 1,000 members all over the world, ISEA is well on its way to being the leading voice for a new discipline we call "statistical engineering" (it's right there in the name!). The theme of our summit is Statistical Engineering: Cultivating the Discipline. At our summit, you'll hear from leading statisticians and engineers across all industries on how they combine statistical knowledge with practical know-how to be effective in their workplaces. It is also an opportunity to share soft skills and techniques in applying statistics in the workplace. To that end, we are excited to introduce a new feature to our summit: the Collaboration Clinic. Similar in format to a lightening talk, participants are given the opportunity to give a short presentation on a practical issue they are facing in their workplace. The audience is then given an opportunity to provide immediate feedback and suggestions. This session truly highlights the vision of our organization and we are thrilled to debut it here at our summit!

More information about the summit can be found here. Early-bird rates are $150 for in-person attendees and $75 for virtual attendees until August 31st. This is a hybrid event, with virtual attendance encouraged for international attendees due to the short timeframe. The majority of the event will be held in the morning to accommodate international virtual attendees. Questions about the event can be sent to events@isea-change.org.

A quick reminder that the deadline for early bird registration for the ISEA Summit is August 31st. This is also the deadline to submit a question for consideration in the Collaborative Clinic. Registration and details about the summit can be found here. This is a hybrid event, so consider attending virtually if you're unable to attend in person.
