The Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Innovation (IMSI) is a mathematical sciences research institute funded by the National Science Foundation. The IMSI Summer Internship Program is hosted by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The program includes a pre-internship training workshop and an interdisciplinary internship placement. Internship hosts will primarily be companies and scientific labs in Champaign-Urbana, Chicago, and the surrounding region.
Eligibility: This program is open to Ph.D. students in mathematics or statistics programs in the United States. Women and students from historically underrepresented US minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications for the summer of 2023 are due by November 28, 2022.
