    Dear Community, 

    I'm writing to share several papers that have come out recently on federal statistics or data:

    1. The Value of Reliable Statistics, NBER Working paper on the the effect of the August 1, 2025 firing of BLS Commissioner McEntarfer on policy uncertainty, and they "then map that increase in uncertainty into implied macroeconomic outcomes."
