The second part of the webinar will provide an overview of the recent updates to the System of National Accounts (SNA) and the Balance of Payments Manual (BPM), highlighting their role in equipping policymakers and researchers to better understand and tackle these current and emerging economic issues. The discussion will focus on how these updated frameworks enhance analytical capabilities, support informed policy responses, and facilitate robust economic research.
The webinar will conclude by outlining the statistical community's implementation plan and timeline for adopting the updated standards.
