    Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite submissions to the HPC4EES Workshop (High-Performance Computing for Environmental and Earth Sciences), to be held in conjunction with the International Conference for High Performance Computing: Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC26) in Chicago, IL, November 2026.

The HPC4EES workshop brings together researchers at the intersection of high-performance computing, AI/ML, statistics, and environmental and Earth sciences, with the goal of advancing scalable modeling, data-driven discovery, and next-generation scientific computing.

We welcome submissions addressing a broad range of topics, including (but not limited to):

Large-scale weather and climate modeling and forecasting

Earth-system modeling (ocean, atmosphere, hydrology, and coupled systems)

Environmental and geophysical simulations, hazard prediction, and risk assessment

Machine learning, AI, and statistical methods for Earth and environmental sciences

Scalable numerical algorithms, uncertainty quantification, and HPC workflows

Digital twins and emerging HPC technologies for environmental sustainability

    Important Dates:

Paper submission deadline: July 31, 2026 (AoE)

Notification of acceptance: September 4, 2026

    Camera-ready submissions: September 25, 2026

We encourage contributions that highlight innovative methodologies, interdisciplinary applications, and impactful scientific advances using HPC for environmental and Earth system challenges.
