    The Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University is seeking nominations for the 2024 Raymond J. Carroll Young Investigator Award. The award description can be found here https://stat.tamu.edu/about/awards-and-prizes/raymond-j-carroll-young-investigator-award/.
     
    Although this award is usually given in odd-numbered years, the department would like to present one award this year during the conference in honor of Distinguished Professor Raymond Carroll, which will be held in College Station from May 23 to 24, 2024. This award is presented by the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University to an outstanding young researcher in statistical science. The nominee must have demonstrated outstanding scholarly contributions in statistical methodology and applications. A nomination must include a maximum of two pages of the nomination letter, a curriculum vitae, and a supporting letter, and these documents can be emailed to Samiran Sinha (email: sinha@stat.tamu.edu). The deadline for sending nominations is February 29, 2024. Self-nominations are also encouraged.
