Thank you for the nice call-out, Li Zou.

What Teachers Should Know About the Bootstrap: Resampling in the Undergraduate Statistics Curriculum
It is misnamed - it is for more than teachers, and not just about the bootstrap. There are things about the use of the CLT in practice that every statistician should know.

Hi David,
This is an issue pointed out by Hesterberg in his well-written paper " What Teachers Should Know About the Bootstrap." There's lack of latest books on this topic. Many theoretical books but not much applied in nature and good at explanation. To this end, Hesterberg and Chihara wrote a book called " Mathematical Statistics with Resampling and R (2019, 2022)." This book gives a nice coverage on Bootstrap confidence intervals and basic applications to regression. I find this book is modern, practical, and well written for undergraduate students.

Hi,
I'm looking for a recent (last 5-10 years) reference book on the bootstrap. I'll be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks,
David
