CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The 2024 edition of the Bocconi Summer School in Advanced Statistics and Probability, jointly organized by Bocconi University, the University of Oxford and Imperial College London, will take place on JULY 8-18, 2024, at VILLA DEL GRUMELLO, LAKE of COMO, Italy.
The topic of the 2024 edition is "Statistical Science for Understanding Climate and the Earth System", and the main instructors are
- Claudia Tebaldi (Earth Scientist Joint Global Change Research Institute, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA)
- Douglas Nychka (Dept of Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Colorado Schoof of Mines, Golden, Colorado, USA).
The 2-weeks summer school is open to all interested researchers, but is especially designed for PhD students. In order to foster interaction among students and instructors, the class is limited to at most 35 participants.
