ASA K-12 Virtual Science Fair – register to participate by April 30 and submit by June 30, 2026
K-12 students are invited to participate in a Virtual Science Fair, presented by the ASAGivesBack group. Students may work independently or with a team of 2-3 participants to investigate an interesting topic and submit a video highlighting their research process and results. There are three grade categories: K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. The science fair is free to enter, and winners are awarded up to $50 in gift cards. Registration is due on April 30, 2026, and project submission is due June 30, 2026.
The main objective of the fair is to help students: ask questions (form hypothesis), create experiments to test hypothesis, organize the data and draw conclusions followed by presenting the data in poster or video format. Students can look for research ideas from their everyday life and can collect data based on their research questions.
