Dear colleagues:
We are Desperately Seeking Reviewers for a special issue on "Biostatistics in Animal Research" for the journal Laboratory Animals. As you may already know, the overall quality of preclinical research publications is below acceptable consensus standards for good statistical practice. We are attempting to address this problem by providing a collection of approximately 20 applied biostatistics notes (1500–2500 words) on topics relevant to preclinical research, with the goal of educating non-statistician researchers.
We are looking for volunteer reviewers who are (1) serious about educating non-statistician end-users on the appropriate use of statistics, (2) able to effectively communicate statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
For more information, please DM me PReynolds@ anest.ufl.edu [Subject line: Biostatistics review]
Thanks!
