    NIH Office of Science Policy Now Accepting Applications for 2025 Summer Science Policy Internship Program

     

    What are your plans for the summer? What about spending the summer with NIH shaping biomedical research and building your policy skills? If science policy is your calling, the OSP Summer Internship Program might be right for you.

    Earn greater visibility as a researcher in the fields of public health and data science.

    Full Application Deadline:

    Monday, March 10, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. ET

    Please note: Once the Intent to Apply is submitted, applicants will receive a link to the full application. Applicants must submit a full application to enter the Challenge.

    The 2025 NCHS/AcademyHealth Data Visualization Challenge is now open. This competition is an opportunity for graduate students (master's or doctoral level) to create static or dynamic data visualizations to address social determinants of health using NCHS public use files with non-NCHS public use data. Apply today for a unique opportunity to explain an important trend or disparity in public health.


    Participate in the Challenge to:

    • Gain experience creating and describing data visualizations to communicate important public health disparities to a wide audience;
    • Earn greater visibility as a researcher in the fields of public health and data science;
    • Broaden your professional network and discover new collaborators at the 2025 Annual Research Meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
