Programming with Big Data

Title: An Introduction to the pbdR Project  by Ryan Elmore

Abstract:

   In this talk I will give a brief introduction to the pbdR (Programming with Big Data in R) project. I will focus the initial part of the talk on several important packages including pbdDMAT, pbdBASE, and pbdMPI. Next, I will highlight a few examples that highlight some of the key advantages to using pdbR.
