    Dear Wisconsin Chapter of the ASA members:

    Due to our multiple modes of communication, please bear with us if you receive multple emails.

    We are asking for nominations for the position of director of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Statistical Chapter.
    In particular, we would welcome a nomination for a person interested in sponsoring activity outside the Milwaukee-Madison area.

    If you or someone you know would be interested, please respond to this email.  If the person is not currently a chapter member,
    they can join for $10.
    Directors serve a 3-year term (and they can run again). Their role is to
    consider the long-range vision and the needs of the ASA members in Wisconsin.
    Officially, the board of Directors control the chapter, however, they may cede
    control of leadership to other officers as they see fit.
    The  formal requirements are to attend (in person or electronically) an annual meeting of the chapter officers
    and to review decisions made for chapter events (usually one or two per year).

    Please let me know within 1 week, i.e., by 4/17.
