Welcome to ASA's Section on Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences (TSHS)

The Section on Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences (TSHS) is an active community of:
  • Researchers and innovators of new methods and best practices for the teaching of statistics in the health sciences, through peer reviewed publications, JSM, CSP, and our online community; 
  •  Leaders in the dissemination of modern resources for the practice and teaching of statistics in the health sciences, via: JSM, CSP, our online community and our resources portal; and
  • Professionals providing support and mentorship to new teachers of statistics in the health sciences, especially those who are:  junior, isolated, and/or in need of resources.

◊ Awards 

TSHS Section offers three annual awards for our members, including the Outstanding Teaching Award, the Young Investigator Award, and the Distinguished Achievement Award. Deadline for nominations is May 1 and details are available here.
